Guided by the philosophy of service to mankind
is the best work of life, Norvic-Escorts International Hospital
manages and organizes number of free medical camps under its
Community Outreach Programme. This is because Norvic not only
provides cares at it best to its patients but also takes care
for the old and poor of the society. In support such programmes,
Norvic organized a Free Medical Camp at Thankot VDC, ward
No. 5 on 9th of June, 2007.
Led
by Dr. Bharat Rawat, Norvic’s team comprises of 13 people
including doctors, nurses, medical Staffs including a Israeli
Doctor. The team started the free camp at 10.30 a.m and continued
till 16.00 hours. Norvic team examined 160 villagers of all
ages. At the camp Norvic Hospital not only gave free check
up but also provided free medicines to the needy and under
privileged patients from the outskirt area of Kathmandu district.
“I feel good and this kind of camp should be organized
on a regular basis”, said one of the patients.
